Post 16 with Headstart
Our Post 16 Courses are aimed primarily at those students who need more intensive support through the Post 16 years and will receive 1:1 and small group learning. This can be offered in a variety of ways and offers different approaches for the individual needs of each student. Students can attend from 1 day to 5 days per week and can access work experience, and/or an apprenticeship where deemed appropriate.
Courses
Courses offer intensive remediation and aim to develop social and communication skills, build confidence and self-esteem, and assist young people who struggle to work in groups or merely allow for some retakes alongside other new courses.

Support
Students have the opportunity to tap into to our therapeutic services such as Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Social Use of Language where appropriate. Students work on a range of social and work skills to prepare them for work or FE College courses. All students have their own personal tutor who provides an important mentoring service and liaises closely with parents/carers and other agencies where necessary. Connexions service is also available on site.
