Praise and reward are used as key motivators for all students. Our reward scheme offers points for attendance to lessons, good behaviour and task completion. These can be used for a chosen activity, for example, go-karting, horse riding, or another suitable activity of a student’s choice. A proportion of points can be exchanged for money to spend with staff on our end of term shopping trips.

We positively welcome input from parents/carers, as our holistic approach centres on working with all aspects of a student’s life, in order to ensure effective, sustainable change. Parents/carers are regularly informed of a student’s educational progress as we view education as a partnership between home and school.
