A School for children with autism

This course is packed with activities and visits. Learners will learn how to handle and care for small animals. Be involved in a dog agility class, groom horses, perform a health check on a small animal, and gain a general understanding of what is involved in small animal and pet care.

 

Learners can gain credits towards a Level 1 Diploma as the course is broken down into small bite size elements and students may gain an award in one year or continue on to achieve a certificate during the second or third. Learners who like animals and hands on practical tasks will gain not only a great deal of animal knowledge from this experience but increase their ability to work as a team, problem solve and build self-esteem.
